Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Uzbekistan

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 7, July, 2004 "On creation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan" the Chamber of commodity producers and entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan has stopped the activity and its assignee became te Chamber of Commerce and Industry ofthe Republic of Uzbekistan.

On September 21, 2004 were conducted the shareholders conference of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the given event the Provision has been approved, directing bodies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been elected.

For a year of the existence the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan became member of some of famous international organizations.

So, on August 16, 2005 the Chamber has entered to the International Chamber of Commerce . Members ICC are thousand companies and associations from more than 140 countries of the World.

To the basic directions of activity ICC are:
The international arbitration;
Preparation of recommendations in the field of international trade, financial services, electronic business, information technologies, power and environment, intellectual property, marketing and advertising, the taxation, investment policy, transport;
Struggle against swindle and other crimes in sphere of business;
Coordination inter-chamber cooperation in the World in the framework of special body - the World federation of Chambers of Commerce.

This very day, on August 16, 2005 Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan became a member of the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce. The World Federation of Chambers of Commerce is special body of the International Chamber of Commerce which primary goal is coordination inter-chamber cooperation in the World.

Also the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce assists in exchanging of experience between chambers-members, construction of strong interpersonal relations, develops and assists in the further development of new products/services for chambers-members.


On October 27, 2005 Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan has entered into Confederation of Asian-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Now the confederation unites Chambers of Commerce and Industry 26 countries, in particular, Australia and New Zealand, India and Indonesia, Japan and Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines, etc.

CACCI is one of the most active structures assisting in economic cooperation and development in Asian-Pacific region. The confederation constantly organizes meetings of leaders of business circles of the countries-members for development of business contacts, and also through the members contacts to the state structures for rendering assistance to regional economic cooperation.
